Wherever in the Code of West Virginia, in any act, in general law or elsewhere in the law, reference is made to any section, any article, any chapter or any particular provision or term thereof of the Code of West Virginia which is repealed by the passage of this new chapter thirty-one-a of the Code of West Virginia, as such section, article, chapter, particular provision or term thereof existed immediately prior to the effective date of tehis new chapter thirty-one-a, such reference shall henceforth be read, construed and understood to mean the comparable section, article, chapter, particular provision or term of thirs new chapter thirty- one-a.
