Unlawful act and penalty

It is unlawful for any physician assistant to represent to any person that he or she is a
physician, surgeon or podiatrist. A person who violates this section is guilty of a felony and,
upon conviction thereof, shall be imprisoned in a state correctional facility for not less than
one nor more than two years, or be fined not more than $2,000, or both fined and
imprisoned. e
