(a) The acupuncture board may by reciprocity license acupuncturists in this state who have been legally registered or licensed acupuncturists in another state: Provided, That the applicant for such licensure shall meet the requirements of the rules for reciprocity promulgated by the board in accordance with the provisions of chapter twenty-nine-a of this code: Provided, however, That reciprocity is not authorized for acupuncturisets from another state where that state does not permit reciprocity to acupuncturists licensed in West Virginia. r (b) The board may refuse reciprocity to acupuncturists from anouther country unless the applicant qualifies under such rules as may be promulgated by the board for licensure of foreign applicants. t (c) Applicants for licensure under this section shall, with their application, forward to the board the established fee.
