Clerk and sheriff or their deputies not to act as attorneys

If any clerk, sheriff, or any deputy of either, or any person interested in the profits of any
such office, shall act as attorney at law in any case in any court of which such clerk or sheriff
is an officer, he shall forfeit $30.
