License, endorsement and certificate of authorization renewal

(a) A licensee or endorsee wanting to continue in active practice shall, annually or biennially,
on or before July 1, renew his or her license or endorsement and pay a renewal fee.
(b) A certificate holder wanting to continue in active practice shall, annually or biennially, on
or before January 1, renew the certificate and pay a renewal fee.
(c) The board shall charge a fee for each a renewal and a late fee for any renewal not paid by
the due date. u
(d) The board shall require as a condition of renewal that each licensee or endorsee
complete continuing education.
(e) The board may deny an application for renewal for any reason which would justify the
denial of an original application for a license, endolrsement or certificate of authorization.
(f) The board may authorize the waiving of the renewal fee of a licensee or endorsee during
the period when he or she is on active duty with any branch of the armed services.
