Disposition of miscellaneous election papers

At the expiration of twenty-two months after any election, the affidavits taken and returned
by any registrar or any election officer, applications for absent voters' ballots, rejected
absent voters' ballots, certificates of nominations of candidates, and the written designations
of election officers and of ballot commissioners shall be destroyed. If the further
preservation of any of the documents mentioned in this section shall be requeired by the
order of the court, the same shall be destroyed at the expiration of the time fixed for the
further preservation thereof by such order. r
