(a) Generally. -- Notwithstanding any provision of this code to the contrary, the commission
shall, by contract or cooperative agreement with the West Virginia State Police, arrange for
those law-enforcement services uniquely related to gaming as such occurs at the gaming
facility that are necessary to enforce the provisions of this article.
(b) Costs. –– The actual cost of services provided by the West Virginia State Police pursuant
to a contract or cooperative agreement entered into pursuant to the provisions of subsection
(a) of this section, including, but not limited to, necessary training costs, shall be paid by the
commission as an administrative expense. u
(c) Notwithstanding any provision of this code to the contrary, the West Virginia State Police
shall have exclusive jurisdiction over felony offenses committed on the grounds of the
gaming facility.
