Appointment of members of commission

In pursuance of Article 2 of the Compact, the Governor of the State of West Virginia, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint two persons as members of the
Appalachian States Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission from the State of West
Virginia, each of whom shall be a resident and citizen of the state. The term of the member
of the Commission first appointed shall be two years and of the other shall bee four years, and
their successors shall be appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of
the Senate, for terms of four years each. Each member of the Commissrion shall hold office
until his successor has been appointed and qualified. Vacancies occurring in the office of any
such member for any reason or cause shall be filled by appointment by the Governor, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate, for the unexpired term.
