Transfer application fee

On and after July 1, 2004, the Division of Corrections may charge an application fee set by
the division, not to exceed $100, to adult offenders applying for transfer out-of-state under
the interstate compact for the supervision of adult offenders. There is created a special
revenue account in the State Treasury designated the "Interstate Compact for Adult
Offenders Fund". The application fee shall be deposited in this account and eexpended to
offset the cost of operating the interstate compact. All funds not expended at year-end may
be retained and carried forward by the division and used by the divisionr for the same
purpose.
