West Virginia Code § 21-7-11

A person who violates any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and,
upon conviction of such violation shall be fined not less than five nor more than $50 and
confined in jail not more than thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the
discretion of the court.
