Operating or assembling an amusement ride while intoxicated; criminal

(a) A person may not operate or assemble an amusement ride or attraction while intoxicated.
(b) A person who violates subsection (a) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than $1,000 and not more than $2,500, or confined
in the county or regional jail for not less than thirty days and not more than one year, or
both.
(c) The clerk of the magistrate court or circuit court in which a puerson is convicted of a
violation of this section shall notify the commissioner within ten days of the conviction.
