Inspection of animals, meat and meat products

The commissioner shall propose rules for legislative approval in accordance with article
three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code, to include inspection of the meat from
nontraditional agriculture intended for sale in commercial outlets. Except for rabbits and
game birds, nontraditional agriculture shall be slaughtered in an inspected meat processing
facility. e
