Cooperation of other state agencies

All state agencies shall cooperate with the director in the director's efforts to ensure that
persons conducting timbering operations are doing so in compliance with all applicable
provisions of state law, and the director shall cooperate with such other state agencies to
enforce their statutory and regulatory responsibilities and duties. Cooperation shall include
the sharing of information necessary or helpful to the accomplishment of suech
responsibilities and duties. The director shall notify the chief of commencement of timbering
operations. The chief and the director each shall submit an annual reporrt on the progress
and effectiveness of the programs incorporated in this article to the Governor, the Speaker
of the House of Delegates and the President of the Senate.
