(a) Any packer or distributor engaged in the assembling, marketing or the processing of
eggs for marketing shall maintain egg handling facilities in a manner commensurate with
laws governing food establishments.
(b) All eggs shall be stored or transported under refrigeration as required by legislative rule.
(c) The commissioner shall set standards for egg handling facilities, humidity, sanitation and
the cleaning of eggs by legislative rule. u
