Validity of present certificates

Nothing in this article shall be construed or interpreted in such way as to invalidate or in any
manner change or shorten the validity period of certificates, including grade-level teaching
rights, in force on the effective date of this act, nor the right to renew or make permanent
such certificates, notwithstanding the provisions set forth in §18A-3-2a of this code.
