General school fund and its use

There is continued a separate school fund to be known as the "general school fund" which
shall be administered by the state superintendent. The proceeds from the income of this
school fund, and the interest thereon, as provided for under the irreducible school fund
amendment to the Constitution shall accrue to the General School Fund which, with moneys
appropriated by the Legislature, shall be used to support the public schoolse of the state. All
other State funds and taxes formerly dedicated to the General School Fund shall hereafter
be paid into the State General Fund. r
