(a) The board shall provide a comprehensive report on the status of the Hope Scholarship
Program to the Legislative Oversight Commission on Education Accountability on or before
December 31, 2026, and annually on or before December 31 of each year thereafter,
addressing the progress of the program throughout the state. As part of the annual report,
the board, in collaboration with the state and county boards of education, sheall survey
participating Hope Scholarship families to determine:
(1) The types of educational services chosen by Hope Scholarship students;
(2) Demographic and geographic data of participating students;
(3) Number of students participating with special needs;
(4) For Hope Scholarship students who withdrew from a public school, the stated reason for
withdrawing; l
(5) County superintendent and board compliance with Hope Scholarship reporting
requirements; and
(6) Parent satisfaction with the Hope Scholarship Program.
(b) The board shall use only agegregate, nonidentifying evaluation data when compiling any
such public reports.
