Guardrail construction

Beginning July 1, 1988, any guardrail placed or replaced in new or existing locations on the
state road system must be constructed using wooden posts unless use of another material
would reduce the costs of such construction or reconstruction: Provided, That when
guardrails are damaged, materials of a like kind may be used.
