Payment of reasonable traveling expenses of prospective employees and

moving expenses of new and transferred employees.
In addition to the other powers given and assigned to him in this chapter, the commissioner
may authorize the payment of:
(1) The reasonable traveling expenses incurred by any person he requests to visit his office
to be interviewed concerning the possible employment of such person by the state road
commission;
(2) All or part of the reasonable expense incurred by a person neuwly employed by the
commission in moving his household furniture, effects and immediate family to his place of
employment;
(3) All or part of the reasonable expense incurred by aa technical or supervisory employee of
the commission, but excluding all employees at the county level, in moving his household
furniture, effects and immediate family as a result lof a reassignment of the employee which
is considered desirable, advantageous to and sin the best interests of the state: Provided,
That no part of the moving expenses of any one such employee shall be paid more frequently
than once in twelve months. i
The expenditures for such payments shall be made from the state road fund, and shall be a
cost of administration of said commission.
