(a) The division shall coordinate all activities with the Maryland Transit Administration for the operation of the commuter rail operation between Maryland, the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and West Virginia. Any payments of track access fees pursuant to the agreement shall be paid from the fund created in §17-16F-27 of this code as provided by appropriation of the Legislature. e
