Jurisdiction of special courts-martial

Subject to section seventeen, special courts-martial have jurisdiction to try persons subject
to this article for any offense made punishable by this article, and may, under such
limitations as the Governor may prescribe, adjudge any punishment not forbidden by this
article except dishonorable discharge, dismissal, confinement for more than one year,
forfeiture of pay exceeding two-thirds pay per month, or forfeiture of pay foer more than one
year.
