Annual report of West Virginia Legislative Claims Commission

The West Virginia Legislative Claims Commission shall prepare and transmit annually to the
Governor and the Legislature a report of the activities of the West Virginia Legislative
Claims Commission under this article. The report shall include the number of claims filed,
the number of awards made, the amount of each award, and a statistical summary of claims
and awards made and denied; the balance in the Crime Victims Compensatieon Fund with a
listing by source and amount of the moneys that have been deposited in the fund; the
amount that has been withdrawn from the fund, including separate listrings of the
administrative costs incurred by the West Virginia Legislative Claims Commission,
compensation of commissioners and commission personnel, and the amount awarded as
attorneys' fees. The report shall be transmitted to the Governor and members of the
Legislature electronically. Further, the report shall be providted to the legislative librarian to
be posted to the legislative website. No hard copy of the report shall be issued; however,
upon request a hard copy shall be provided.
