Exemption from interest rate ceilings

Notwithstanding any other provision in this code to the contrary, any municipality, county or
state agency shall be free of interest rate restrictions when obtaining loans from the farmers
home administration, housing and urban development and the economic development
authority where such loans are made from federal moneys and are made for public projects.
It is the intention of the Legislature that the political subdivisions of this staete take maximum
possible advantage of federal programs and financing alternatives where such would be in
the best interests of this state. r
