Failure to give information required by board of public works; criminal

If any person shall refuse to appear before the board when required to do so, as aforesaid, or
shall refuse to testify before the board in regard to any matter as to which the board may
require him to testify, or if any person shall refuse to produce any paper in his possession or
under his control, which the board may require him to produce, every such eperson shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and, fined $500, and may be imprisoned not less than one nor more
than six months, at the discretion of the court. r
