Washington Code § 77.70.050

Salmon charter boats—Limitation on issuance of licenses—Renewal—Transfer

(1) After May 28, 1977, the director shall issue no new salmon charter licenses. A person may renew an existing salmon charter license only if the person held the license sought to be renewed during the previous year or acquired the license by transfer from someone who held it during the previous year, and if the person has not subsequently transferred the license to another person. (2) Salmon charter licenses may be renewed each year. A salmon charter license which is not renewed each year shall not be renewed further. (3) Subject to the restrictions in RCW 77.65.020, salmon charter licenses are transferable from one license holder to another.
