(1) A person who holds a fishery license required by chapter 77.65 RCW, or who holds an operator's license and is designated as an alternate operator on a fishery license required by chapter 77.65 RCW, is guilty of unlawful use of a commercial fishery license if the person: (a) Does not have the commercial fishery license or operator's license in possession during fishing or delivery; or (b) Violates any rule of the department regarding the use, possession, display, or presentation of the person's license, decals, or vessel numbers. (2) Unlawful use of a commercial fishery license is a misdemeanor.
