Washington Code § 74.04.385

Unlawful practices relating to surplus commodities—Penalty

It shall be unlawful for any recipient of federal or other surplus commodities received under RCW 74.04.380 to sell, transfer, barter, or otherwise dispose of such commodities to any other person. It shall be unlawful for any person to receive, possess, or use any surplus commodities received under RCW 74.04.380 unless he or she has been certified as eligible to receive, possess, and use such commodities by the state department of social and health services. Violation of the provisions of RCW 74.04.380 or this section shall constitute a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months or by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or both.
