Residents in total confinement—State identification cards

(1) The department shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the department of licensing to allow residents in total confinement at the special commitment center to obtain a state identification card through a written identification verification letter completed by the special commitment center and delivered to the department of licensing. (2) The process shall occur upon the person's initial detention at the special commitment center. The process shall reoccur when the person's state identification card expires.
