This chapter does not apply to the following residential facilities: (1) Nursing homes licensed under chapter 18.51 RCW; (2) Assisted living facilities licensed under chapter 18.20 RCW; (3) Adult family homes licensed under chapter 70.128 RCW; (4) Facilities approved and certified under chapter 71A.22 RCW; (5) Residential treatment facilities licensed under chapter 71.12 RCW; and (6) Hospitals licensed under chapter 70.41 RCW.
