Unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter. (1) "Department" means the department of labor and industries. (2) "Public agency" means a state office, commission, committee, bureau, or department. (3) "Industry standard" means the 62-1981R standard established by the American society of heating, refrigerating, and air-conditioning engineers as codified in M-1602 of the building officials and code administrators international manual as of January 1, 1990.
