Certificate of authority—Duration, renewal, amendment

(1) All certificates of authority shall continue in force until suspended, revoked, or not renewed. A certificate shall be subject to renewal annually on the first day of July upon application of the insurer and payment of the fee therefor. If not so renewed, the certificate shall expire as of the thirtieth day of June next preceding. (2) The commissioner may amend a certificate of authority at any time in accordance with changes in the insurer's charter or insuring powers.
