A state highway to be known as state route number 509 is established as follows: Beginning at a junction with state route number 705 at Tacoma, thence northeasterly to a junction with state route number 99 in the vicinity of Redondo; also From a junction with state route number 516 at Des Moines, thence northerly to a junction with state route number 99 in Seattle.
