Washington Code § 43.20A.110

Secretary's delegation of powers and duties

The secretary may delegate any power or duty vested in or transferred to him or her by law, or executive order, to his or her deputy secretary or to any other assistant or subordinate; but the secretary shall be responsible for the official acts of the officers and employees of the department.
