Comprehensive plan—Review

The comprehensive transit plan adopted by the authority shall be reviewed by the state department of transportation to determine: (1) The completeness of service to be offered and the economic viability of the transit system proposed in such comprehensive transit plan; (2) Whether such plan integrates the proposed transportation system with existing transportation modes and systems that serve the benefit area; (3) Whether such plan coordinates that area's system and service with nearby public transportation systems; (4) Whether such plan is eligible for matching state or federal funds.
