A. If a bail bondsman chooses to carry a firearm in the course of his duties, he shall be required to: 1. First complete basic firearms training, as defined by the Board; and 2. Receive ongoing in-service firearms training, as defined by the Board. B. In the event a bail bondsman discharges a firearm during the course of his duties, he shall report it to the Department within 24 business hours. 2004, c. 460.
