The provisions of the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq.) relating to officers of a corporation shall apply to banks except that, if a bank shall not appoint a secretary, the cashier of a bank shall be deemed to be the secretary of the corporation. 1966, c. 584, § 6.1-46; 2010, c. 794.
