A. Each health maintenance organization licensed under this chapter shall renew its license with the Commission annually by July 1. The renewal license shall not be issued until the health maintenance organization has paid all fees and charges imposed on it and has complied with all other requirements of law. B. The Commission shall not fail or refuse to renew the license of any health maintenance organization without first giving the health maintenance organization ten days' notice of its intention not to renew the license and giving it an opportunity to be heard and to introduce evidence on its behalf. Any such hearing may be informal. The required notice may be waived by the Commission and the health maintenance organization. 1980, c. 720, § 38.1-883; 1986, c. 562; 1987, c. 519.
