Every building or facility designed, constructed or substantially altered after the effective date of a standard issued under subsection B of § 2.2-1159, which is applicable to such building shall be designed, constructed or altered in accordance with such standard. 1970, c. 539, § 2.1-109.05; 1977, c. 672, § 2.1-519; 2001, c. 844.
