§ 6905. Mandatory reporting to and postmortem investigation of deaths by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner When a person making a report of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult has reasonable cause to believe that a vulnerable adult died as a result of abuse or neglect, the Department shall notify the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner immediately.
