§ 1956. Proceeds from assessments All assessments, including late-payment assessments, from health care providers under this subchapter shall be deposited in the General Fund. No provision of this subchapter shall permit the State to reduce the level of State funds expended on the nursing home Medicaid program in any fiscal year below the level expended in fiscal year 1991 from the General Fund for the nursing home Medicaid program.
