§ 4699. Discharge of imprisoned collector When a collector has been committed to jail on any extent and the municipality shall realize on any of the tax bills lodged with the treasurer under this chapter the full amount due from the collector on all such extents, he or she may be discharged from such imprisonment by the order of a Superior judge upon proof of the foregoing facts, on notice to the treasurer of such municipality.
