§ 1305. Confidentiality of records (a) When produced or acquired by the Department pursuant to this chapter, the following records are exempt from public inspection and copying under the Public Records Act and shall be kept confidential: (1) personal information and background check documents; (2) any lists of names, including information related to voluntary self- exclusion; (3) trade secrets, business records, financial records, and related information; and (4) records relating to operator security, technology, facilities, or systems. (b) The Public Records Act exemptions created in this section shall not be subject to the provisions of 1 V.S.A. § 317(e) (repeal of Public Records Act exemptions).
