§ 505. Service No company holding a certificate of public good under this chapter may abandon or curtail any service subject to the jurisdiction of the Commission or abandon all or any part of its facilities if it would thereby effect the abandonment, curtailment, or impairment of the service, without obtaining approval of the Public Utility Commission, after notice and opportunity for hearing, and upon a finding by the Commission that the abandonment or curtailment is consistent with the public interest.
