§ 751a. Definitions For purposes of this subchapter: (1) “Assembled product” means a good produced by combining articles or components where none of the articles or components were fabricated, changed, or altered by the use of offender labor. (2) “Offender service labor” means the use of offender labor for projects such as brush clearing, painting, repairing, and construction. (3) “Offender work product” means a good fabricated by inmate labor in whole or in part from raw or prepared materials, so as to impart to those materials new forms, qualities, or properties.
