§ 699. Employees not to pay for insurance
An agreement by an employee to pay any portion of the cost of insurance of any kind
maintained or carried by an employer for the purpose of securing compensation under
the provisions of this chapter shall be void. An employer who makes a deduction for
such purpose from the wages or salary of an employee entitled to the benefits of this
chapter shall be fined not more than $500.00.
