§ 603. Witnesses, oaths, books, papers, records
(a) So far as it is necessary in his or her examinations and investigations and in the
determination of matters within his or her jurisdiction, the Commissioner shall have
power to subpoena witnesses, administer oaths, and to demand the production of books,
papers, records, and documents for his or her examination.
(b) The Superior Court, a Justice of the Supreme Court, or a Superior judge shall have
power to enforce by proper proceedings the attendance and testimony of witnesses and
the production and examination of such books, papers, records, and documents before
the Commissioner, and in the case of a corporation, the provisions of 11 V.S.A. §§ 441-444 shall apply.
