§ 1462. Period of dormancy On July 1, 2020, the Short-Time Compensation Program established pursuant to sections 1451–1461 of this subchapter ceased operation. Effective upon completion of the project to implement a modernized information technology system for the unemployment insurance program in 2026, the Short-Time Compensation Program shall resume operation pursuant to the provisions of sections 1451–1461 of this subchapter.
