Unemployment Compensation Administration Fund

§ 1362. Unemployment Compensation Administration Fund
The Unemployment Compensation Administration Fund is created to consist of all monies
received by the State or by the Commissioner for the administration of this chapter.
The Unemployment Compensation Administration Fund shall be a special fund managed
pursuant to 32 V.S.A. chapter 7, subchapter 5. The Unemployment Compensation Administration
Fund shall be handled through the State Treasurer as other State monies are handled,
but it shall be expended solely for the purposes and in the amounts found necessary
by the Secretary of Labor for the proper and efficient administration of this chapter
and its balance shall not lapse at any time but shall remain continuously available
to the Commissioner for expenditures consistent with the provisions of this section.
All federal monies allotted or apportioned to the State by the Secretary of Labor,
or other agency, for the administration of this chapter shall be paid into the Unemployment
Compensation Administration Fund and are hereby appropriated to the Unemployment Compensation
Administration Fund.
