§ 5250v. Cooperation between Medical Examiner and procurement organization The Chief Medical Examiner shall cooperate with procurement organizations to maximize the opportunity to recover anatomical gifts for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education, except when the Chief Medical Examiner believes such cooperation would be inconsistent with death investigation procedures or would negatively affect a death investigation.
