§ 2285. Nonapplicability of certain requirements for payment of wages
Except as expressly provided in this chapter, the University of Vermont and State
Agricultural College and its Board of Trustees, officers, and employees shall not
be subject to the provisions of 21 V.S.A. § 342(c) that require written employee authorization before an employer may pay wages through
electronic funds transfer or other direct deposit systems to a checking, savings,
or other deposit account maintained by the employee within or outside the State.
